Picomite Raspberry pi pico basic microcomputer with ps2 keyboard and vga ports

This is a built & tested board with SD card function enabled and has some basic programs on the flash memory (drive A:) to get you started - see pictures.

These include blocks.bas at Tetris game, screen tests: colour bars, test card(buggy), font display & some of my own tinkering with screen fills.

Reset switch is a 2 pin, not 4 pin as this allows for an external reset switch to be soldered in if the board is fitted into a case in the future.

I would recommend a SD card be inserted as drive B: as it makes copying files from a PC much easier.

Built from a new raspberry pi pico 2040, soldered onto a picoVga type 1 board with an SD card slot, PS/2 keyboard socket & a VGA socket (socket is slightly smaller than the edge of the board so I recommend screwing the vga cable into socket as shown).

Some flux may remain on the underside of the board.

Powers from a standard Micro usb cable (NOT INCLUDED) & you will need a PS/2 keyboard - not a USB keyboard.

Great for learning basic as it runs MMBasic, a custom version of microsoft basic for some 8 bit nostalgia.

All pico 2040 pins are on the 40 pin header allowing for expansion with additional circuits boards (Sound output, relay control, Real time clock, joystick input etc).
