Oh I see, if I am logged out it shows true price which is < £135, logged in it shows with all the taxes etc but as net price is still too low cannot buy.

Ah - the actual price for that is £114.99. We are looking at how we can implement the collection of UK VAT for these items - so the price you see (£150.64) is actually inclusive of the UK VAT and additional paypal fees etc if payment was to be made to us and we then order the item direct from Tetroid

He sells some good stuff, but without shipping to the UK, it's pretty-much useless to me.

Not so far as I know unfortunately.

These VAT changes are a major headache for all small businesses - try selling to the EU, where you need to appoint a fiscal representative at a cost of at lest £2500 pa plus fees on each transaction!

Bump for the same I found myself here looking for info on shipping to the UK from the EU and it seems it's just as fun as ever!

Being based in Poland, Zaxon just underlines the problems faced with VAT on international shipping - the rules are aimed at big businesses sending large consignments.

The last I heard, he had applied for a UK VAT registration number, but has not yet received it. The Polish VAT authorities want him to go through all sorts of hoops to prove that an item has been exported from Poland in order for him to get away without having to charge Polish VAT on the item also.
