SD card storage, sound and joystick interface for your ZX81 / Timex 1000 machine created in cooperation with sirmorris, author of this great hardware.

ZX81 computer and SD card are not included.

Flashed with the latest T0MTE firmware.

Enjoy AY sound and joystick on your Zeddy by playing action game https://github.com/charlierobson/biggoil

The program launcher ZXPAND commander for quick file access is available on https://github.com/charlierobson/ZXpand-Vitamins/tree/master/zxpand-commander.

The commander starts automatically by pressing Shift on power-on or reset if the file is renamed to menu.p and stored in the root folder of the SD card.

  • Question: I have a 16K internal RAM mod (Zigg) fitted. Can I use the ZXpand+ with it installed, or must I remove it beforehand? Thanks.

    Answer: no need removing internal RAM, it is disabled by ZXPAND using RAMCS signal and replaced by its own 32kB RAM
