ZX81 Membrane USB Keyboard Controller (for stand alone use)

This board will allow you to use a ZX81 replacement membrane as a USB keyboard on a modern PC. (It will not let you use a USB keyboard on a ZX81).

This can use useful for testing ZX81 membranes, or to get a simple 40 key keyboard for a project with a Raspberry Pi or other single board computer inside.

The keys are all mapped in the firmware on the board to the most appropriate keys on a modern USB keyboard. 

There is a small piezo sounder which makes a click noise when a key is pressed, to give a bit of feedback to the user.

This auction is for the built and tested USB keyboard controller board, a USB A-B lead, and mounting pillars. No ZX81 cases or membranes are included.
