Sinclair ZX Spectrum Educational Software: Fun School 4 for 7-11 year olds

This is the educational software Fun School 4 (For 7 to 11 Year Olds) by Europress Software for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum home computer.

This software includes six programs to help entertain and educate children - including cleverly animated rewards and stunning graphics, combined with essential elements of the National Curriculum.

Programs are:

• Spy Travels - Learn about the major countries, rivers, cities, oceans and continents
• Timetable - Add or subtract departure times to find the correct flight
• Exchange Rates - Buy five major currencies to learn about exchange rates
• Spy Quiz - Test general knowledge and spelling to uncover secret documents
• Proportions - Use your skill to work out decimals, percentages and fractions
• Desert Dates (No - it's not another edition of "Dinner Date") - Answer historical questions to reveal the secrets in the pyramids

More of a collector's item now - as the world has moved on a lot since the 1980s, so I daresay that the countries and currencies are woefully out of date unless you look on them in historical context.  Still these educational titles have become more sought after now, as they did not sell in huge numbers in the 80s - kids just wanted to pretend the computer was to help them with school work, when in reality it was initially for playing Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy, and later for teaching about computers and breeding a whole generation of computer programmers!

In good condition, this is supplied in its original oversize case, complete with cassette and manual.  There is a label on the outside of the box unfortunately.
