Original Motorola MC1377P used in the Sinclair QL Home Computer to convert the RGB video signal to the PAL or NTSC video signal used by the television.
Problems with this chip are often shown by white sections of the display spreading themselves out to the right (ghosting). However, this chip is not always at fault - it can also be a combination of the 8301, 8302 and even the UHF modulator which have an issue!
This is the plastic version of the chip, in 20-pin side-brazed DIP.
