A common fault on the Sinclair QL machines are groups of non working keys, or you cannot get past the start-up screen.

This problem is almost always caused by a non-working keyboard membrane which has deteriorated over the years where the heat generated during use of the computer has made the membrane brittle, degrading the key action and electrical contacts.

These are new (manufactured in 2020), very high quality, replacement membranes. They are stronger, more flexible, more heat resistant and much longer lasting than the originals, keeping  your QL keyboard working well into the future.
