The ideal gift for the computer or electronic enthusiats!
This display contains 14 original TTL chips and are in the range 7400 to 7413.
The chips range in age from the 1970s to modern day. The actual age of the chips cannot be guaranteed as they come from various suppliers. The colour may vary too - the silver one in the images are quite unusual!
Currently I'm using chips manufactured by Texas Instruments who popularised TTL in the 1960s and 1970s
The silicon chips are mounted on a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) that I have designed to display them in their natural habitat - it's display only, the chips are not powered.
I hand solder quality turned pin sockets to the PCB before carefully inserting the chips and mounting it all in a white box frame.
23.2cm (9 1/4 inches) x 23.2 (9 1/4 inches) x 3.5cm (1 3/8 inches) deep.
