This is the rare BT Merlin Tonto M1824 Datalink ROM Cartridge which plugs into one of the slots in a Merlin Tonto or ICL One Per Desk ROMpack, to provide the computer with two utiilities: Feeding Teletype and Export Page and is ideally suited to be used together with the M1887 Data Comms Adaptor, although you could also dial into a computer using the Tonto's built in modem.

Feeding Teletype is a terminal emulation program which allows you to use the Merlin Tonto (or ICL One Per Desk) as a glass teletype terminal communication with a computer service.  You can also prepare documents off-line using Quill and Abacus (for example) and then send them to the computer service.

Export Page allows you to export pages from the Computer Access Page Store and save them to a microdrive cartridge or disk, latger to import into Quill, Archive or Abacus, or even process them from BASIC.
