This is a software Firmware Selector for the famous DivIDE Plus Compact Flash / IDE Interface for the ZX Spectrum.
This loads when the Spectrum first initialises the DivIDE Plus, and allows you to easily choose which firmware you wish to be loaded at start up (and remembers the choice). So much easier than remembering the commands required to switch to a different firmware.
Also supports start up in 128K mode.
With this low cost fimrware selector, which is simple to install with the provided manual, you can now easily set your DivIDE Plus to start up in any given firmware and in 48K or 128K mode.

Question: I would like to buy it, but will it work with esxdos installed as main firmware, the picture does not show it installed.
Posted by Z***g (9) - 01/11/2019 11:40:52Answer: Yes - if you have the upgraded GAL chips to allow esxDOS to be installed on the DivIDE Plus, the firmware selector works with esxDOS too.

Posted by A***r (3) - 15/10/2014 11:10:22Answer: This is software and works ONLY with the DivIDE Plus - it is sent by email as a .tap file - simply copy it to your CF card and then run the TAP file - and press a couple of keys
