Description

COMMODORE AMIGA CDTV

Fully working set for finally getting that Mouse and Joystick port other Amiga models have.
I am including all you need in this listing. Fully soldered PCB, and both the DB-9 ports complete with wires.

What it basically does, is to tap into the chip that controls the 2 joystick ports, and route the signals to 2 IDC cables with a DB-9 connector at the end, just like the ones that all other Classic Amigas have. This way, you can use standard Amiga mouse and joysticks on the CDTV. Works great with my Amiga/Atari PS2 mouse adapter in my other listing.

Notice: No computer included in this listing, only the PCB and wire loom. Picture one shows how it would look after installation. The computer and chip shown in picture one is not included, but all you need for it to work is included.

This kit require you to open up your CDTV, remove one chip, and put the included PCB into the socket that the chip was installed, and then seat the chip back on top of the new PCB. No soldering required. I would strongly recommend asking a professional for help if you never done things like this before. Installing this the wrong way could damage your CDTV. I take no responsibillity for wrong installation or damaged CDTV. Please make sure you unplug your CDTV from the mains before opening it, because even when the power button is off, there is power to the mainboard, including the chip involved here.

Dont be scared by the low price, this is a quality product made by a fellow retro enthusiast fighting to keep the prices low for my fellow retro fans. The PCB was designed at home, and produced at a professional PCB factory.
