Description

This is the British Telecom BuyLines Magazine from Summer 1988 (issue 7).  It was an in-house advertising magazine for their latest products.

A real journey back in time, there is a two page spread given to their latest of 'cellphones', including the Coral, Pearl, Opal 'S' and Bronze cellphones - this was before the days of being able to do anything on a mobile phone other than make calls.  There is an extra page advertising their new Ivory cellphone with the power to do a days work which can fit in your pocket (and weighs just 500g!)

Prices had already dropped from the previous issue with phones now from just £1395 to £1595 + VAT - a drop of £400 on their previous price - it shows how much technology prices were moving at the time.

There is just a half page given over to the Merlin Tonto computer, maybe reflecting the start of the move away from this system.

Lots more of interesting items including the first fax machine to break the £1000 barrier - just £995 + VAT.

It is interesting that they were still offering 8" floppy disks as well as 5.25", 3.5" and even 3" floppy disks.

In excellent condition - someone has written some annotations against a couple of items.
