Description

 Short but important information. All my interfaces are hand-made. I send them as soon as I can. Sometimes it takes a day, sometimes a week. I am doing what I can depending on the number of orders. I am not Wallmart or Amazon and I can not offer delivery on the same day. I'm a one-man company;) So if you do not have patience wait, please, do not order. Thank you ;)

 

Brand new Atari XF551 clone floppy drive with 3'5 drive  for Atari XL/XE . It is second version, without HYPER ROM and rom switch on the front.

In set:

- Metal case with 3D printed front and back panel

- Brand new 3'5 inch  floppy drive

- PCB board is designed by me, and using correct 8.33 frequency.

- SIO CABLE

 - European power supply 90-260 volt input , 5 volt output

Drive is new, 100 % hand made by me from start to end.

    Answer: No idea, anyway, is no reason. PC floppy drive cost is low. Orginal 1581 is expensive. You think install XF551 in to C1581 case ?

    Answer: Becouse my boards is on WD1770 chip and Hyper not working on it. Is still in rom, if you install own WD1772 can be activated.

    Answer: Yes, 5 volt , 1 Amper minimum, centre positive, negative outside, plug 5,5/2,1 .
