Atari 410 Cassette Unit Drive Belt Set - 2 Belt Model

There are two models of the Atari 410, a 2 belt model and a 3 belt model.
This pack is for the 2 belt model and contains the main drive belt and the tape counter belt.

THESE BELTS CAN NOT BE USED IN THE 3 BELT UNIT.

The cause of poor loading performance from these cassette units is often a perishing drive belt becoming slack, or more commonly kinked where it has sat without moving around the drive pulley for 30 years or so. This kink then becomes a permanent feature of the belt causing it to jump and slip.

The belts supplied are brand-new replacements, as close as is possible to the design and size of the originals, but made from modern, more resilient materials. They have been tested extensively on this machine and work perfectly.

Manufactured in Germany, they are of premium quality. They are not the cheap, terrible quality things from the Chinese belt bundles so widely available now.
