Description

Specifically built for the Amiga 1500/2000 and its variants, the AMYATXA2000 Plus is an A2000 PSU to ATX converter cable module.

 You may utilize a more affordable (and readily available on the market) ATX power supply in your Amiga 2000 or 1500 by using this excellent adapter module.

The adapter accommodates both 20-pin and 24-pin ATX connectors and just has to be plugged into an Amiga 2000 motherboard and regular ATX power supply (as seen in the photographs).

The adapter plugs straight into the motherboard connector of the A2000 and provides ALL the voltages required for the proper operation of the A2000 (including the -5V voltage) in addition to generating a 50Hz TTL level square wave "TICK" signal for PAL A2000s (or 60Hz on request for NTSC A2000s) that is quartz controlled.

As a result, there is no need to change the configuration of the jumpers on the Amiga motherboard.

A bicolor LED will also indicate the state of the ATX power supply:

ATX PSU OFF or RED indicates SHORTED MOTHERBOARD

Normal = GREEN

Compatible with ALL Amiga motherboard revisions
