ZX8-KDLX (fully assembled, ready to use)

complete replacement keyboard for ZX81 or TS1000
 

ZX81 keyboard complete mounted - ready to use

Part of the auction is a complete soldered/mounted professional replacement keyboard for ZX81 - ready to use.

The keyboard fits to the original case (a little bit higher than the standard membrane)

  • dimensions of PCB board 156 x 63 x 0.6 mm (6.1 x 2.5 x 0.02 inches), doublesided layout
  • soldered, mounted and tested - ready to use
  • compatible to ZX81, TS1000 (with small minor differences like NEWLINE vs. ENTER)
  • including 40 SMD tactile switches of type ALPS SKQGAFE010, Molex jumper cables and top cover
  • top cover film is printed with special ZXpand keywords DELETE, CONFIG and CAT
  • easy typing with low force switches (1 newton only)
  • very good type feeling, much better than the standard keyboard membrane
  • can be used placed on the original keyboard membrane without removing it for keeping all original

This module is also available as:

  • PCB (board only) without components
  • assembly kit with all parts for self soldering / mounting
