Description

Short but important information. All my interfaces are hand-made by me . I send them as soon as I can. Sometimes it takes a day, sometimes a month . I am doing what I can depending on the number of orders. I am not Wallmart or Amazon and I can not offer delivery on the same day. I'm a one-man company;) So if you do not have patience wait, please, do not order.   

 

For sale, brand new DDI 4. .

 

Disk drive interface for Amstrad/Schneider 464 . (Not for + and 6128 machines).

On board:

-512 kb ram  so you can run almost all games and demos from CPC 6128.

-ABBA switch for swap drives (if you plan connect two)

-reset button

- PARADOS 1.2 and AMSDOS select by switch

-via thru so you can connect other interfaces, Mother X4 for example

-Allow connect 2 drives, the best option is one normal floppy and second USB emulator

-In set is one  40 cm ribbon cable for conect single drive.

 

Floppy drive and USB emulator not included.

 

Interface is in 3D printed case.

  • Question: I got the "JUST-CPC-2" board and the "Budget-USB-Floppy-Emulator". Can this DDI-4 interface be added to the setup to add an original Amstrad FD1? Possible Conflicts with RAM-Expansion?

    Answer: DDI4 is only for CPC 464, with Just CPC 2 will be conflict with ram and floppy( Just CPC have own controller) You can connect FD1 direct to 2x34 pin wia proper cable

  • Question: Will it work with a "Amstrad CPC USB floppy emulator , budget version ;)" bought in septembre 2017?

    Answer: It is for amstrad 464, "Amstrad CPC usb" is for 6128, this cannot wor together becouse it is for 2 diffent computers ?

  • Question: Can the 40 cm ribbon cable be connected with Gotek drive and is it compatible by using FlashFloppy or HxC?
