Intelligent Software was a UK based company which was headed by David Levy, an international chess player. They entered the home computer market in 1983 after they were asked to design a home computer by a Hong Kong based company, Locumals. They launched the Enterprise home computer which went on sale in April 1984. They also developed the PW360 to compete against the Amstrad PCW8256, but unfortunately, this never reached the market, as the company went into receivership in 1986 |
