Description
We are pleased to be able to offer new replacement keyboard membranes for the 16K and 48K Sinclair ZX Spectrum home computer.

Keyboard membrane failure is the most common problem with a Sinclair ZX Spectrum home computer.
If some of the keys on your Sinclair ZX Spectrum home computer no longer work (for example you cannot get past the copyright startup screen), then it is bound to mean that you need a new keyboard membrane.
These fit all Sinclair ZX Spectrums with the rubber keyboard (including 16K, 48K machines from issue 1 to issue 6) - they will also fit the majority of clones, such as teh Timex Sinclair T/S 1500 (ZX81 clone) and the CZ-2000 computer.
These keyboard membranes are for the standard original Sinclair ZX Spectrum with rubber keyboard - if you have the version with a full sized keyboard.
If you have a hard plastic keyboard (such as that provided on the ZX Spectrum +48 and ZX Spectrum +128 machines), then you will need a different membrane.
If in doubt, ask!
Easy to fit, using instructions supplied and manufactured using the latest techniques to make them more resistant to UV light and long term storage, these new membranes will help keep the original rubber keyed Sinclair ZX Spectrum running for a good few more years.
The only tools you will need to fit these membranes are a screwdriver and a hairdryer (to melt the glue on the faceplate). If you damage the faceplate, don't worry - we can supply replacements!
These membranes have all been manufactured in 2011 and are of even higher quality than those formerly supplied by Sinclair - they are more rigid than the originals and others which may be available on ebay currently.
